Slovenian operator T-2 has filed a new damages claim against Telekom Slovenije, accusing the market leader of abusing its dominance.
Local outlet SeeNews reports that T-2 is seeking €12.2 million (US$14.8 million) in damages, arguing that this constitutes compensation for the loss of profit worth up to €35.8 million and non-existence of claims in the amount of €1.8 million plus interest.
As noted by CommsUpdate, these claims – which were filed with the Ljubljana District Court – cover the period between 1st September 2018 and 31st July 2020. T-2’s previous legal spat with Telekom Slovenije, which leveled the same accusation at the market leader, concluded in September 2018 with a settlement of €129.6 million.
