MobiFone signs digital transformation and 5G deployment deal with Nokia

Vietnam’s MobiFone has signed a 5G cooperation agreement with Nokia at MWC 2023.

Under the terms of the deal, Nokia implement a digital transformation of MobiFone’s infrastructure, shifting aspects to the cloud, while deploying 5G technologies including 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) services. Nokia will also help MobiFone to plan its network development strategy.

Nokia’s Vice President of Global Business Ricky Corker said: “We believe that the cooperation will help increase the 5G market share for MobiFone and Nokia’s solutions and services will benefit not only users but also businesses in Vietnam.”
