UAE-based du has selected Nokia’s Multi-Access Gateway (MAG) to deliver enterprise and residential broadband via 4G and 5G wireless access (FWA) networks.
Nokia will provide du with its MAG as well as its Nokia FastMile 5G gateways and professional services. Using Nokia’s 7750 Service Routers, the MAG can provide broadband access over fibre or FWA technologies, which allows operators such as du to offload fixed wireless broadband traffic from their mobile core networks, helping them scale services more easily, increase coverage and decrease time to market.
