Chinese equipment vendor ZTE aided a project to win the ‘5G Industry Challenge Award’ at the GSMA 2023 Asia Mobile Awards (AMO) held during MWC Shanghai.
The vendor was part of an entry in partnership with Tang West Market Group which created a metaverse artwork project and transaction platform.
It was done also in partnership with China Mobile Communications Group Shaanxi Company, China Mobile Cloud, Hainan International Culture and Artworks Exchange, and the Non State Museums Committee of the Chinese Museums Association.
The project was the construction of a cultural and artwork metaverse platform using 5G, XR and video, created by museum owners Tang West Market Group, which operates a museum in the city of Xi'an.
ZTE said it will continue to collaborate with ecosystem partners such as Tanh West Market Group to find new innovations through connectivity.
