Netcracker announced Thai operator AIS will continue its relationship with the vendor by consolidating its billing systems onto Netcracker's BSS platform.
In a statement, Netcracker detailed that AIS will bring its billing system onto Netcracker Revenue Management which is part of its Digital BSS platform. The software vendor claimed the operator will see faster time to market, consolidated view on sales and revenue and the ability to bundle products, to deliver improved customer experience.
The operator will use Netcracker Cloud Platform as a foundation for a comprehensive IT infrastructure transformation programme. The deployment will also leverage Customer Billing Management and Converged Rating & Charging from Netcracker Revenue Management, along with CI/CD methodologies for continuous and seamless updates.
AIS head of solutions business unit Suppachai Panichayunon said: “Having a converged billing platform that conforms to an industry-aligned architecture and supports different deployment models and the ability to test and roll out new products and offers will give us a significant advantage in our market.
“With the success we’ve achieved with Netcracker over the years, extending the collaboration will only yield additional positive outcomes.”
