Cloud computing services company Google Cloud and professional services firm PwC India have announced an enhanced strategic alliance that, they say, will leverage the power of generative AI (GenAI) to augment enterprise solutions.
This partnership combines Google Cloud’s AI expertise, including the Vertex AI platform and Gemini models, with PwC India’s industry insights and consulting experience.
Together, the companies say they aim to develop a suite of generative AI solutions that will transform key business operations across various sectors, with a special focus on tax, healthcare and legal services.
Given the announcement by the government of India of plans to operationalise the IndiaAI Mission as well as investing in all the building blocks of an AI ecosystem, the partners say the time is right for enterprises to embrace the power of GenAI.
The alliance will focus on areas such as conversational AI, image generation AI and search functionalities. PwC India and Google Cloud will also explore Gen AI use cases across industries to identify areas where businesses can derive significant value from AI investments.
Google Cloud says its technology combined with PwC India’s Managed Services offering will help clients improve business functions while providing support for digital and business transformations.
Vertex AI is a fully managed, unified AI development platform for building and using generative AI. Vertex AI offers access to Gemini models from Google. Gemini is capable of understanding virtually any input, combining different types of information, and generating almost any output.
Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, and Gemini models along with PwC India’s deep industry insights will, say the companies, provide the right security and compliance, ensuring that enterprises meet regulatory requirements while leveraging the latest in AI technology. Enterprises will also be able to improve decision-making and boost collaboration and project management as well as accelerate content creation.
