African roaming offering augmented with hub services

A major African telecommunications and information services firm has upgraded its roaming services to facilitate inter-network connections. The Expresso Group has commissioned BICS to provide its Roaming Hub services for the deployment.

In the continuing effort to meet the ever changing needs of a fast growing roaming customer base, mobile operators are implementing innovative solutions to enable roaming services between each other. Connecting to a hub, as opposed to one-to-one roaming relationships, has become essential for the delivery of better value, and quality, services - particularly for diversified telecommunications groups operating in multiple markets.
