Beeline Kazakhstan selects Tango Telecom’s Anti-Spam Solution

Beeline Kazakhstan is upgrading its messaging infrastructure with the implementation of iAX Anti-Spam, Tango Telecom’s advanced messaging threat protection solution.

iAX Anti-Spam provides the leading Kazakhstan operator with comprehensive anti-threat capabilities enabling the protection of its network and its subscribers from the onslaught of fraud, spam and malware threats. This solution defends Beeline’s network against a wide variety of abuses, including denial-of-service attacks, flooding and offensive content and ensure a reduction in subscriber churn and a decrease in revenue losses.

Denis Pustoshilov, Head of NSS and VAS Departments, Beeline Kazakhstan, said: “Regardless of the real origin, we know that subscribers associate their mobile provider as the source of any spam they may receive. We want to ensure our subscribers that our network provides them the protection, security and overall quality of experience they expect from the Beeline brand.”

“Mobile spam causes significant damage to an operator’s network and brand reputation and the threats and attacks are continuing to increase, “explains Rory O’Toole, EVP Alliances, Tango Telecom. “Recent studies with our Tier 1 customers in APAC and LATAM have shown that increases in spam are directly linked to increases in churn, higher support costs and can destroy subscribers’ trust in their operator. Our comprehensive Anti-Spam solution eliminates unwanted traffic and enables operators to protect their subscribers, their network and their brand reputation, providing them with significant competitive advantage.”
