SWAN Chooses Cerillion for 4G Launch in Slovakia

Slovakian operator SWAN has selected Cerillion to deliver a complete business support system (BSS) solution for its 4G launch.

Cerillion is implementing its Convergent Charging System for 3GPP online charging and policy control, pre-integrated with its CRM Plus, Revenue Manager and Service Manager modules, providing SWAN with a comprehensive order-to-cash solution.

Already an established provider of broadband services, including corporate 26GHz fixed wireless access and 3.5GHz WiMAX services, SWAN (Slovak Wireless Access Network) was awarded the fourth 4G operator license in Slovakia in January 2014, alongside the country’s three existing mobile operators.

Martin Mosny, Strategy and Development Director at SWAN, said: “The pre-integrated platform and quick time to launch helps us to make the fastest and best use of our recently awarded LTE licence, whilst also providing the path to consolidate all of our services on to one BSS in the next phase.”

“As a new entrant to the Slovakia mobile market, SWAN has the opportunity to disrupt the market with a more innovative set of services built on the latest generation of charging and billing technology,” commented Louis Hall, CEO, Cerillion Technologies.
