Ooredoo Kuwait has selected Fortinet to provide its secure SD-WAN managed service.
Under the agreement, Ooredoo’s enterprise customers will be able to boost connectivity speeds and application performance, as well as gain access to enhanced security features. The operator is deploying the solution across its retail outlets.
In a statement, Fortinet said: “Without an integrated security solution, organisations are forced to overlay security, creating significant overheads and leaving gaps in protection as security and management systems remain isolated. We’re pleased to work with Ooredoo Kuwait to deliver the region’s first secure SD-WAN managed service and continue our focus of delivering integrated SD-WAN and advanced security to enterprise customers around the world.”
The company noted that forecasts for the global SD-WAN market predict a CAGR of 40% by 2022, reaching US$4.5 billion.
