Developing Telecoms begins an exciting new chapter in its history with the appointment of Manny Pham as its new Editor.
Manny joins us from Marketing Week, where he worked as a reporter for a year. Prior to this, Manny spent a year as a reporter at the GSMA’s Mobile World Live, and before this he held the position of Features Editor at Mobile News.
Developing Telecoms’ readers may recognise Manny’s name, as he worked with us for a brief period from late 2020 to early 2021. His passion for the telecoms industry and its impact in emerging markets were palpable, and we felt he was a perfect fit for the site so we’re delighted to be able to welcome him back in the role of Editor.
“It’s a pleasure to be back at Developing Telecoms, and I’m excited to help move the site forward and take our coverage in new directions – while of course keeping our focus on emerging markets and the benefits that connectivity delivers in these regions” says Manny.
Manny takes the helm from James Barton, who is vacating the post of Editor after eleven years to become Developing Telecoms’ Director of Content. In this new role, James will guide the site’s content strategy going forward as well as managing various aspects of the site on a day-to-day basis. He will also continue to contribute articles to our editorial.
